³⁰ Then Phinehas ^(A)stood up and interposed,
And so the ^(B)plague was stayed.
³¹ And it was ^(C)reckoned to him for righteousness,
To all generations forever.

³² They also ^(D)provoked Him to wrath at the waters of ^[a]Meribah,
So that it ^(E)went hard with Moses on their account;
